Mara Goorts

Mara is a reliable organizer who is a pleasure to work with. Her guests were very enthusiastic about the sailing trip to Terschelling. On to more collaborations!

Super fun sailing trip made in January on the Wadden Sea. It is often the case when traveling that the destination is the best, but as far as I'm concerned,... Lees verder the highlight in this case was the trip to and from Terschelling. Totally great to keep such a sailing ship on course together and to hear the adventures of the Skipper. Recommended.
We enjoyed! We were on the sailing weekend in January and it was really fantastic. We counted ourselves lucky with the good weather (when sailing in January you don't immediately... Lees verder think of radiant weather) but the skipper said that it actually always opens up on the mudflats and there are only a handful of days when it is gray all day. Everyone can help with sailing and that is definitely recommended, even if you have no sailing experience! Everything was very well organized. The food was delicious and the activities were top notch. With the highlight being draining on the mud flats. Very special to be able to walk around on the sandbank with such a small group and spot seals. In addition to draining, there were other activities that we would not think of ourselves, but that were really fun and provided more knowledge about the island. Finally, being together with the group. You are on a ship so you are in contact with each other a lot, but that went very naturally and it was just great fun. You can do things together, but you also have the space for your own activities and needs. In short, a very special experience that I highly recommend!
